I am wondering what changes were made in the aviation industry as a consequence of the Erebus disaster. Where there any changes in navigational or safety devices such as the ground proximity warning devices used by aircraft? Where their changes in pilot traning that resulted? Where there organisaational changes with airlines? Where there regulatory changes? What I am looking for is clear evidence of a link between the Erebus disaster and a change in any one of the above or other areas of the aviation industry. The question is what learning resulted from the disaster.
