Does anyone know if any of the DC-10 aircraft Air New Zealand operated are still in existence  or have been scrapped, I suspect the latter.  A few years ago I read that a DC-8 was rotting away somewhere in Brazil.  Just recently 744 ZK-NBS left NZ forever, itself a part of NZ Aviation history.

Hi. Many of the DC-10 aircraft that were once owned by ANZ have been broken up. Many were onsold to American Airlines. 

The latest history we have on the last remaining aircraft is below:

ANZ    ZK-NZS 17.10.2005: To Societé Normande d’Entreprise SARL

ANZ    ZK-NZQ 31.08.2001: WFU and stored in Mojave

ANZ    ZK-NZT 25.06.2001: To Pegasus Aviation

They all could have been scrapped by now.

The one's that were sold to American Airlines have long since been scrapped
