We've worked hard to collate all of the information relating to the Mt Erebus flight TE901 disaster.  Please tell us what do you think of the website, and any suggestions for improvement.

Well done to everybody who has contributed to putting this site together.  It's been great working on this site, and seeing it develop over the last few months.  I'm very excited to see it go live this morning!

I'm sure it will be a valuable resource for everyone,  for many years to come.

Congratulations on the site - i have always told my children about the accident they lost a grandmother they will never know

The tragedy was so public and nearly every one in New Zealand in 1979 knew of someone on that flight

Excellent work!

Most definitely the definitive website on the tradgey.  Have spent the last couple of hours surfing around the site, and will no doubt spend many more.  I particularly like the "Kids Zone".  This is an event that all NZers should be aware of.

It was one of those events where you can recall exactly where you were when you heard the news.  I can recall vividly the news of the aircraft  being reported missing...that the fuel would now be exhausted...and that wreckage had been found on the slopes of Mt Erebus.

A fitting tribute to all involved!

This is an excellent resource for what was – and still is – a fascinating chapter in New Zealand's history. The documentaries are particularly good. Ultimately we must remember though that it was a terrible human disaster.

Now it just needs a bit more media / advertising to get known of by all those people out there...

I and my family lived in Melbourne, Australia at the time (although I'd lived in Auckland previously) - my dad's the one born "east  of Oz", as we put it (with much love, as we all have, for NZ).

"nearly every one in New Zealand in 1979 knew of someone on that flight" - these were almost the exact words used by my father this evening, as I spoke about this website and what I'd learned here (when the plane crashed, I was seven - so parts of this were re-learning, but still...)

Bettibop, kia kaha to you and all those who lost a direct family member... I know that pain (only far more recently, and far less publicly).

Congratulations to the NZALPA  for developing and maintaining this site. Long overdue, IMHO. Blessings to you all!
